I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t in the kitchen doing something. As early as 6 years old, I was baking cookies and pies with my mom and baklava with my Yia Yia (Greek for grandma). And by the time I was a young teen, I was in the kitchen on my own looking for opportunities to ‘do something'.

 

Over the years, friends and family, have told me that I should start a business. I never thought I had what it took to make my hobby into a business until the time came when I spent time with a pastry chef who was impressed with my knowledge and technique in the kitchen. That was enough to spur me into action! And so what began years ago by the side of my mom and Yia Yia, is now Debbie’s Delights!
